Love Island star Clint Posselt reveals new relationship and rap career
A Love Island star has spilt his villa secrets, revealed his new relationship and opened up on his debut as a rapper.

A Sunshine Coast Love Island star has debuted a rap song while he explores the beginnings of a brand new relationship with a woman he met locally.
Clint Posselt, a 28-year-old environmental engineer and former Mareeba State High School captain, starred on season five of Love Island Australia late last year.
He was the last male bombshell to enter the villa and was runner up with partner Savanah Badger, a blonde law graduate from Adelaide.
After spending the majority of his adult life in serious, long term relationships – Mr Posselt found himself single in his late 20s with a passion for travel and nothing to lose.
“I thought a free trip to Spain, sitting in a villa all day with amazing people could be really fun so I applied and didn’t really think much would come of it,” he said.
“I heard back very quickly and it was pretty smooth sailing after that.
“When I got in I knew it was going to be the experience of a lifetime.”
Mr Posselt, of Maroochydore, said it was intimidating entering the villa so late in the season, but was grateful for his saucy connection with his partner Savanah – the Australian version of legally blonde.
“I was in the villa for about a week and a half but we formed a really good connection,” he said.
“It makes it hard entering a few weeks in. It was intimidating knowing everyone has already formed really good relationships and have already been there for three to four weeks together.
“It was good she (Savanah) was available and we had a strong connection so I was able to get to know her without standing on the other guys’ toes and was able to gel with the other guys too.”
Despite a whirlwind week or so with the bubbly blonde, the couple separated as soon as they left the villa.
“We left on really good terms. We just realised it wasn’t going to work, it hadn’t been very long,” Mr Posselt said.
“My experience was made really good because of her though.”
Since leaving the villa and returning the Sunshine Coast, Mr Posselt said he was now pursuing a music career.
“I got out and didn’t realise how many people watched the show. Every time I’m out here people come up and say ‘hi’,” he said.
“I was on The Voice in 2018 so now with this recent exposure from Love Island I decided to pursue music again.”
On January 15, Mr Posselt released his first song, Against Her, on Spotify under the name Clinny P.
“It’s a nightclub setting song, playful but confident,” he said.
“I’ve got more music in the works and am hoping to perform at some festivals.”
His song features the lyrics “not a gangsta but I’m gangsta … don’t mean to offend … my hips move up against her”.
Regarding his love life since Love Island, Mr Posselt he was actually quite smitten.
“I have been seeing someone recently and she also lives on the Sunshine Coast,” he said.
“It’s just the beginning, exciting stage.
“We’re taking things slow and keeping that a bit more private.”
