LEAH Itsines’ star is well and truly on the rise – and set to shine as brightly as that of her sibling, fitness powerhouse Kayla.
Also in the business of fitness and personal training, Leah is packing up the training gear and focusing on Bare, her newly released digital guide of nutritional recipes.
Teaming up with partner Mitch Caon, director of The Nourishing Cook, Leah is set to complement her sister’s fitness fame with her own brand of lifestyle business.
“My passion has always been cooking, health and wellness. For me, the opportunity to pursue something that helps women all over the world achieve their goals is something that truly excites me and makes me want to do more and give as much as I can to my community,” she says.
“I want to provide as many people all over the world with my healthy twist on recipes and make it easier for people to get creative in the kitchen.”
Leah and Mitch have set their sights on spreading the word about nutrition and making a difference in people’s lives.
“We have big plans to grow our business in the next 6-18 months,” she says.
“We want to create a business that has a strong emphasis on showing people how to eat (and have) a balanced lifestyle.
“In 2018, we’re looking to create products such as hardcopy recipe books, tangible kitchen products such as spices and ready-to-go meal kits. We want to add more convenience to people’s lives – we live in a stressful, time-poor era as it is, so we really want to show people how to eat well without having to spend loads of time and money.”
But there’s no rivalry between sisters, as Leah and Kayla support each other through their common goals.
“Kayla and I are really close, but we leave the business talks at the office and talk more on a personal level,” Leah says.
“We’re sisters and we’ve been sisters before we began our journeys and we will still be sisters forever. If either of us need help or guidance, we’re a very strong team, but we prefer to connect more as
a family and leave the stresses of business in the office.”
There’s much to look forward to for Leah – and this Itsines is definitely one to watch in the coming months.
“Mitch and I are heading to the US for a few weeks on Monday to visit New York
and LA for work and play,”
she says.
“We do have some amazing partnerships coming up, but they are all under wraps for now – stay tuned.”
