ADELAIDE radio’s worst-kept secret has been confirmed with TV newsreader Rebecca Morse and Andrew ‘Cosi’ Costello set to take over hit107’s brekkie show next year.
ADELAIDE radio’s worst-kept secret has been confirmed — TV newsreader Rebecca Morse and Andrew ‘Cosi’ Costello are set to take over hit107’s brekkie show January 21 next year.
As mooted exclusively in Confidential last month, the popular duo will replace current trio Amos Gill, Cat Lynch and Angus O’Loughlin, as part of a new-look program targeting a “broader audience”.
Long-time TV newsreader Rebecca, 40, admits the extra workload on top of her Ten duties and motherhood is “mildly terrifying”.
“I haven’t nutted out exactly how next year will work yet but I’m hoping to have a couple of hours in between jobs for a nana nap if I need it,” she says.
“I’m mildly terrified about managing the juggle to be honest, but if there’s one thing Instagram motivational quotes have taught me, it’s that if you avoid things you may fail at, you’ll never try anything.”
The last radio ratings survey showed hit107’s brekkie show lagging behind Mix 102.3, Triple M and Nova on the FM dial.
