Actor Sophia Forrest refused to shut down rumours she’s dating Russell Crowe

ACTOR Sophia Forrest, daughter of billionaire businessman Andrew “Twiggy” Forrest, was rattled after The Daily Telegraph asked whether she was dating Russell Crowe — and she didn’t do anything to shut them down.

IT’S a rumour so silly, Love Child actor Sophia Forrest would not even waste the words to shut down stories suggesting a romance with her old man’s mate Russell Crowe.

Yesterday the 23-year-old rising star was discussing a solid year of work, which saw her rack up roles in upcoming superhero blockbuster Aquaman and highly anticipated Melbourne Cup drama Ride Like A Girl.

“Working with (actor) Rachel Griffiths in her feature directorial debut was such a thrill, it was a real privilege to be on that set,” Forrest said.

But the daughter of mining magnate Andrew ‘Twiggy’ Forrest, had been linked to her dad’s mate Crowe, 54, by other media after the pair were seen out at events, including in a private box cheering on the Rabbitohs last week.

Asked to finally shut down the speculation at Vogue American Express Fashion’s Night Out in Sydney yesterday, Forrest did not respond. Instead, she simply walked away to re-join her friends.

Besides the family connection, Crowe gave the youngster her first break, casting her in his 2014 film The Water Diviner — Forrest’s first
on-screen credit
