SHE is 22, has movie star looks, a role in a hit TV show, and is the daughter of one of Australia’s richest men, so it’s not surprising there is one question Sophia Forrest gets asked more than others.

“Are you going to be running off to Hollywood? I definitely will go wherever the work takes me, but I am very proud of our Australian film, I think we produce some incredible films here.”

For now Forrest is still getting her head around her new home in Sydney, where she moved three months ago from Perth after landing a role in season four of Channel Nine series Love Child that premieres Tuesday.

“I love Sydney, but I miss home and I miss my family and friends and pets, especially my beautiful pug Yoda,” she said.

“You really have to get your hands dirty, which I love,” she says of farm life.

“Especially after you’ve done some acting work and you feel a bit like a princess and you need to rub some dirt in it.”

Forrest is the second daughter of Andrew and his wife Nicola.

In WA’s Rich List 2017, Andrew was ranked the second wealthiest man with an estimated fortune of $5.65 billion.

He has, however, insisted his three children, Grace, 23, Sophia and Sydney, 17, will not inherit the fortune, and has pledged to give away the majority of the cash through the family’s philanthropic organisation, the Minderoo Foundation.

“(My parents) have definitely led the way in terms of my core values — just work hard, be humble and just try your best.”
