Carrie Bickmore spotted with friend Frankie Braile at Sam Smith gig, just days before break-up announcement

Just days before announcing her split from long-time partner Chris Walker, Carrie Bickmore hid her heartbreak partying with SA celebrities at an exclusive Sam Smith concert at McLaren Vale.
Among them was friend Frankie Braile, who shared a photo of the pair at the d’Arenberg Cube concert to Instagram last week.
Adelaide-born Bickmore was all smiles as she posed for a picture next to Mr Braile, who also posed up with SAFM breakfast presenter Rebecca Morse and Adelady founders Lauren De Cesare and Hayley Pearson.
The 300-person invite-only gig was Bickmore’s last public sighting before revealing her break-up on Wednesday morning, just a month after leaving her long-time spot as host of The Project.
Bickmore and Walker, who had been together for 10 years, confirmed the news in a statement shared to their Instagram stories.
“Hi there. It’s with immense sadness that (Chris) and I have decided to separate,” the post began.
“While this is a tough time, our focus is to concentrate on parenting, loving and supporting our three amazing children, Ollie, Evie and Addie with everything we’ve got. They are doing great.
“We won’t be making any further comment at this stage.”
Walker and 42-year-old Bickmore met on the set of The Project in 2012, about two years after the Adelaide-born TV star suffered the tragic loss of her first husband, Greg Lange, to brain cancer.
Bickmore was born in Adelaide in 1980 and moved to Perth at age two.
In the years after they met, the pair flourished as a couple – Walker became a stepfather to Bickmore and Lange’s son, Ollie, and they later welcomed two children of their own, Evie and Addie.
The shocking separation comes after Walker stripped naked in front of colleagues in 2022, wrongly believing he had logged off a Skype call.
Workers were exposed to the confronting images during an online rehearsal meeting for The Weekly television comedy program on May 17.
