Adelaide talkback radio station FIVEaa has rebranded with a new logo and slogan as it moves towards a “more contemporary” sound.

The refresh includes the new tagline, Always Adelaide, that plays on the “AA” and replaces Talking Adelaide. It also features a more “dynamic and modern” logo, while maintaining its traditional red, black and white colours.

FIVEaa recruited a host of new voices to the station this year, including new afternoon host Stacey Lee and new weekday newsreaders Graeme Goodings and Jess Adamson, and brought back Jade Robran as roving breakfast show reporter.

Station manager Craig Munn said the rebrand “aligned perfectly” with their “more contemporary” line-up.

“We’re excited about what the future holds for the station and excited to share the new FIVEaa with the people of Adelaide,” he said.

Nova Entertainment’s chief growth officer Adam Johnson said the new look would help “entice new listeners to the station”.

“As FIVEaa looks to the future... the brand refresh is a brilliant nod to the station’s enduring legacy, while bringing the brand’s identity into 2024 and beyond,” he said.
