Jade Robran to join FIVEaa breakfast radio show as roving reporter

Three months after leaving FIVEaa, a popular media personality is back and will join the station’s new-look breakfast show.

FIVEaa’s powerhouse breakfast radio show has received another boost, with Jade Robran joining the team.

The experienced presenter and journalist will be the program’s new roving reporter, starting on Monday.

It comes after veteran TV hosts Graeme Goodings and Jess Adamson joined the brekkie show’s news reading line-up this week.

Robran, who previously hosted the station’s afternoons show for two years before pulling the pin in October, said she always planned to return alongside hosts David Penberthy and Will Goodings.

“Everyone knows breakfast is the all important shift of the day, so of course I had aspirations to one day hopefully get that opportunity,” she said.

“To be offered that and work with David and Will, two blokes who are bloody funny and intelligent, but we have all known each other for a long time – and radio is all about on-air chemistry and I believe we have that – it’s exciting times ahead.”

Robran’s vast experience includes work as a presenter covering the AFL Grand Final, Melbourne Cup Carnival, Australian Open and as a correspondent with Sunrise.

Station manager Craig Munn said they were “thrilled” to keep Robran in the FIVEaa family.

“Ever since Jade made the decision to step away from hosting FIVEaa afternoons we’ve been working closely together on how we could keep her involved with the station,” he said.

“When news breaks in Adelaide, Jade will be there, connecting our show and listeners to what’s happening live as it happens.”
