Adelaide Fashion Week was a chance to not only show up but dress up, like Joel Cox and Rumer Wendt, who had sensational sustainable style at House of Campbell’s long lunch at Golden Boy. They were among the best-dressed at the festival …

STEPPING UP

Muso-tuned-men’s footwear guru Kennedy Parker’s Jayne-Anne Power, pictured at the Shoes, Booze & Style for the Boys event off Adelaide Arcade, knows how to rock a pants suit.

NEWS KIDS ON THE BLOCK

Here’s the long and short of it: Fresh faces at the House of Campbell event, Jawoa Um and Joanne Cockram know how to work colour blocking.

With her sunny smile and sleek ponytail, Clip Joint’s Natalie Buckingham is the perfect poster girl for Aston Studio’s bold and beautiful strapless dress.

DOUBLE DENIM

What do cool customers do when they’re invited to the champagne, no, make that, Passion Pop-opening of Renew Adelaide’s new Frida Las Vegas store in Charles St? Why, they don denim and black – like Julia Miller and Nikki Candy – and buy one another a pressie. FYI, Julia gave Nikki a Frida Las Vegas “glamour sack” and Nikki got Julia some OTT earrings.

SUIT YOURSELF

A VIP at House of Campbell’s event, Joanna Arul Tropeano has made our best-dressed list before. No explanation necessary. PS Love the ‘guilty pleasure’, that is the gold YSL army candy.

EARNING HER STRIPES

Wake up and smell the coffee, already! Cimon Vozzo is one of the most in-demand stylists in town because only she could carry off the matching Aston Studio takeaway cup, top and skirt combo.

MOVIE STAR

Is Ena Vujcic channelling Lauren Bacall or Veronica Lake in her trench? Who cares, she’s old school Hollywood glam and we love it.

SHUTTERBUG CHIC

Photographer Ekaterina Shipova is one of AFW’s super snappers, working the room (with her camera) at accessories designer Katya Komarova’s event. Looking quite a picture, in a black slip dress, sleek ponytail, brogues and a KK bag, here’s hoping she took a selfie or two.

ONE TO WATCH

Each and every model in the King’s Lane parades was a star, but we couldn’t take our eyes off Savannah, who is signed with Pride Models. She’s got the look.

TICKLED PINK AND GREEN

Decked out in Aston Studio, Samantha Costello sure knows how to have fun with resort-style dressing.

DRESSY CASUAL

Elle & Elka’s Evelyn Kakoufas and model-turned-stylist Charlotte Kleut are simply on point – one with a sharp suit and the other making her mark with a white jeans and T-shirt combo.

WELCOME HOME

House of Campbell designer Abby Potter was the consummate hostess at her brand’s long lunch event at Golden Boy, which was one of the highlights of AFW. As always, she was her own best advertisement, thanks to her understated yet unmissable style.

BLOOMIN’ BEAUTIFUL

It’s fine with a forecast of lovely spring floral fashion, for Channel 7’s Gertie Spurling – who reports on the weather among other things.
