Adelaide brekky radio ratings: ABC clear winner, but competition heats up

The third radio ratings survey results for 2022 are out and while there’s a clear winner in the all-important brekky contest, the competition between other stations is hotting up.

Nova’s Ben Harvey and Liam Stapleton have held onto their crowns as the kings of breakfast radio on the FM dial in Adelaide’s latest radio ratings results.

The duo finished with 11.1 in Adelaide’s latest radio ratings survey results.

It was a dip of 1.2 from the previous survey but still enough to place them equal runner-up.

Nova’s sister station on the AM band, FIVEaa – where brekky is hosted by duo David Penberthy and Will Goodings – also recorded 11.1, which was a dip of 0.5 from last survey.

The two stations remain behind ABC Adelaide’s Stacey Lee and Nikolai Beilharz, who have been in the top spot all year. Aunty gained 0.9 to finish No. 1 with 16.7.

Triple M’s Mark Ricciuto, Chris Dittmar and Laura O’Callaghan are in third spot with 9.9 up 1.0, while fourth place is shared by three stations who all scored 8.8.

They are Former ABC presenter Ali Clarke’s Mix 102.3 show, co-hosted by AFLW star Erin Phillips and Irish comedian Eddie Bannon, which dropped 1.1 share points; SAFM’s trio of Andrew ‘Cosi’ Costello, Rebecca Morse and Anthony ‘Lehmo’ Lehmann (up 1.1) and easy listening station Cruise 1323 hosted by John Dean (down 0.2).

The ABC is Adelaide’s top-rating station overall with 12.0 up 1.2 share points. Mix, which had a stronghold on that position until it was toppled by Aunty in the first survey for 2022, is in second place with 11.6.
