Connor Reed racks ‘em up
The stuff of dreams for many, the Mallala September Showjumping Competition went ahead without a hitch.

WITH its borders locked down tight, South Australia is enjoying a level of normality that other states could only dream of.
Apart from having to observe some COVID-safe practices the Mallala September Showjumping Competition proceeded basically as usual.
Riders were excited to be out competing and travelled from as far away as Mt Gambier for the opportunity.
Conor Reed was incredibly busy and highly successful across the weekend with his team of horses including a win in the main class.
Riding Leopoldo MVNZ, Reed won the Open 1.35m, jumping a fast double clear round. Second place went to Mark Lindh and the evergreen Six Pack.
Reed also rode Classique Dorien to win the 1.25m jump-off class from Nicole Bruggerman and Romney Quizmaster.
Then riding Dollar Girl, Reed won the open 1.1m from Harry Beckel and Partyrocker.
Anthony Thomas has made a triumphant return to showjumping after a lengthy break.
He rode his SL Donato to win the open 1.3m jump off class and also take second place riding Peter Graham’s MEC Aston.
Lauren Bolzen rode Madagascar to win the THSA 1.05m from Jasmine Dawe and Turn it Up. These results were repeated in the THSA 1.1m class.
The progressive 90cm class was won by Mollie Treloar and Corporate Take Over from Hannah Condon and Metal Edge while the open 1.05m class went to Matt Robins and Jacky Splash.
Hannah Condon rode Emma Peel GNZ to win both the junior 1.10m and 1.05m from Lisa Dewhurst and Wolverine.
The progressive 95cm class was won by Millicent Quigley Smith riding EABS Moretti from Hannah Condon and Metal Edge while the 1.1m open class went to Emily Nettle and Cash Cab.
The open 1.10m went to Ashleigh Westcott riding Con Brio from Connor Read and Dollar Girl.
