Prominent thoroughbred breeders Paul and Angela Fudge have listed their property Bong Bong Farm at Moss Vale in NSW for sale, with an asking price of about $35 million.

The 97.5ha property, which is the home of the couple’s Waratah Thoroughbreds, will be sold via expressions of interest.

Mr Fudge said, “Angela and I are very proud with what we have created but it is now time for us to hand the reigns over to a new party to commence the next chapter at Bong Bong Farm.”

The property, described by selling agents as one of the southern hemisphere’s most highly-acclaimed thoroughbred complexes, has the infrastructure to accommodate about 100 horses.

Some of the key features at Bong Bong Farm include four John Ladd-Hudson architecturally designed barns with high specification timber, brass finishes and sandstone facade, and a parade ring incorporating stabling for 61 horses.

The property also features five well-maintained residences including two fully renovated houses on their own titles, privately situated throughout the grounds.

Inglis Rural Property director Jamie Inglis said, “it is difficult to comprehend the enormity and scale of investment until you have physically visited the property”.

“The Ladd-Hudson designed stables, Paul Bangay gardens and overall attention to detail, high-level of finish and spectacular scale make it one of the best complexes in Australia with every possible investment in technology, buildings, accommodation, civil works and amenity to maximise the wellbeing of quality thoroughbreds.

“Unfortunately due to Paul’s deteriorating health, this magnificent property has now come on to the market.”

The property is located at 100 Headlam Rd, Moss Vale, NSW.

Expressions of interest will close on June 2.
