Drivers jump from vehicles to punch on at Torrensville in wild road rage incident
Footage has emerged of an ugly incident at Torrensville where two drivers jumped from their vehicles to punch each other and wrestle to the ground before onlookers broke it up.
Shocked onlookers had to step in after a road rage incident where a man and women exchanged multiple blows at Torrensville.
Footage shows traffic brought to a standstill as the pair jumped out of their vehicles in West St at the intersection with Henley Beach Rd to confront each other, punched on then wrestled to the ground.
A torrent of abuse accompanied the physical blows.
Workers from nearby businesses intervened to drag the pair apart, at one stage yelling at the man: “Get off her.”
The undated footage obtained by 7NEWS appears to follow a situation where the female driver of a hatchback rammed into the back of a SUV driven by the man.
Asked by bystanders if she was OK the woman replied: “No I’m not, this xxx clown barrelled over the top of me through a give way sign causing an accident.”
Despite appearing to have hit the SUV from behind, the highly agitated woman claimed the owner of the wagon was at fault, screaming: “Learn English and learn to drive you xxxx.”
Neither driver appeared seriously injured from the accident or the ugly aftermath.
Police say anyone with information should contact them.
