It’s the second serious alleged stabbing in the Gold Coast’s tourism and party hotspot in a matter of months.

In July, 20-year-old Daniel Condon was left lying face down in a pool of blood along Orchid Ave after he was allegedly stabbed in the back by what police said was a large silver kitchen knife.

Mr Condon was rushed to Gold Coast University Hospital where he was placed in an induced coma and underwent emergency surgery.

Police have charged 21-year-old Victorian man, Manyang Manyang, with acts intended to maim and committing public nuisance.

A second man, 23-year-old Ngor Ngor, was charged with acts intended to maim and unlicensed driving.
