Motorists had to proceed with caution on Monday morning after a car burst into flames by the side of the road north of Noosa.
Three Queensland Fire Department crews arrive at the scene on McKinnon Drive, Ringtail Creek at 11.40am, working quickly to extinguish the blaze.
The person driving the mini-van was out of the vehicle and accounted for by the time firefighters arrived.

One Facebook user said car fires like this were “happening way too often”.
Another agreed, writing “so many car fires lately”.
Firefighters extinguished the blaze by 12.15pm, with two crews staying behind to ensure the scene was fully safe for motorists and those involved.
A QFD spokeswoman confirmed the mini-van was being towed away from the scene about 12.30pm.
Though motorists were alarmed by the sight of the fire, traffic remained relatively unaffected, with one lane of the road being kept open throughout the ordeal.
