Emerging and established food producers are vying for top industry accolades this year, while sharing their stories of resilience and courage.
The finalists in this year’s SA Premier’s Food and Beverage Industry Awards were announced on Monday. Industry body Food SA, which organises the awards with funding from the state government, said the number of entries were up 15 per cent, despite the economic challenges so far.
“There are certainly plenty of stories to tell about 2020, and some of the most inspiring have come from the finalists,” Food SA chief executive Catherine Sayer said.
