More rain tipped for Victoria over the next week

VICTORIA may experience a damp end to spring.

The Bureau of Meteorology today said showers were expected right across state from Thursday.

The long-range forecasts, official and otherwise, are all becoming wetter.

Falls are expected to be light on Thursday but progressively heavier throughout the weekend and into early next week.

Most weather websites are cautiously forecasting between 1-5mm later this week with some big falls of more than 20mm again in the northeast over the weekend.
