SUNRISE Ag, long-time exhibitor at Mallee field days, will be back on-site this week with surprises in store.

Ouyen branch manager Phil Eames, who will be at Speed, said a key point of interest for farmers would be the company’s new range of seeding equipment.

“We’re the new distributor for the Canadian-made Seedmaster range and will have the Nova air cart and seed bar on show for the first time,” Mr Eames said.

“The Nova is factory-fitted with load cells on all tanks, zone control, turnable seeding heads and ‘Xeed’ blockage monitors.

“The compact transport toolbar is available in 50-80ft (15-24m) with auto packing force sensors, auto-lift openers and Viper 4 display.

“We’ll also be unveiling the Case IH Patriot sprayer with the factory’s Aim Command Flex upgrade — the latest technology PWM system with 72-section control and turn compensation using the Viper 4 console.

“This system reduces crop damage from chemical over-application, lowers the possibility of herbicide resistance, saves money on chemical wastage and maintains precise droplet size over a range of speeds to maximise spray effectiveness.

“Having all-new NCVs (nozzle control valves) and control modules, plus the Raven smartphone app allows the operator to control pump and boom sections from the rear of the machine for nozzle maintenance.

“Case IH’s AFS AccuTurn has now also been released for 2017 and staff will be available to demonstrate this great new feature.

“AccuTurn allows automatic headland steering to turn a Case IH tractor around and get it on track for the next pass, so eliminating operator error.”

Mr Eames said Sunrise Ag would also be displaying its range of Case IH combines, Croplands WEEDit 7000-litre trailed sprayer released last year and the new Croplands Pegasus 7000-litre sprayer for its first showing in Australia.

“The 7000-litre Pegasus incorporates some of the features of the 8000, but comes with a modernised look.”

The latest model adds a fourth option to the range, alongside the 5000, 6000 and 8000-litre versions.

Pegasus sprayers are available with 24-36m booms featuring parallelogram boom lift and hydraulic accumulator suspension to maximise stability, boost accuracy and improve boom life.

They use UV and chemical-resistant polyethylene tanks, a central control panel, a five-section (or optional seven-section) automatic sprayer controller and single non-drip nozzle bodies.

Other features include adjustable hitch, dual Supaflow agitators, 60-litre Chem-e-flush hopper and flushing tank with integrated sprayer rinsing device.

Maximum output for the 5000 and 6000-litre models is 180 litres per minute and peak pressure 2000kPa (284psi).

An optional 250 litres per minute pump and hydraulic drive pump options are also available.

The 8000-litre has a 250 litres per minute pump as standard, while the new 7000 is fitted with Hpro’s latest Forcefield hydraulically-driven, high-capacity centrifugal pump.

Prices for the 33m Pegasus 7000 start from $177,100. For details, visit sunriseag.com.au
