Mallee Machinery Field Days at Speed attracts thousands
THOUSANDS of Mallee and Wimmera farmers and their families were at Speed last week for the annual Mallee Machinery Field Days.
MACHINES from the weird to the wonderful made tracks to the annual Mallee Machinery Field Days at Speed last week.
Among the machines on display was the first commercially available tracked sprayer, Goldacres’ G8 CT Super Cruiser.
It is fitted with a Soucy track system to improve flotation on controlled traffic farming setups.
It attracted plenty of attention as did the big harvest machines, on-farm storage systems, hay gear and tractors.
Big focus on variety at Mallee days
There will be $100 million worth of machinery and equipment will be on show at this year’s Mallee Machinery Field Days.
