A Tasmanian Angus bull has sold at auction today for $240,000.

Well-known stud, Landfall Angus, owned by the Archer family from Dilston in northern Tasmania sold the bull during the annual on-property sale.

The 2021-drop bull, Landfall Pheasantry S1755 by Te Mania Pheasantry P1479, had a birth weight of 1.8 and 600-day-weight of 118kg and an eye muscle area of 12.4, which is almost double the breed average.

Dunoon Angus Stud of Holbrook secured the bull. The selling continues at Landfall and on AuctionsPlus.
