Lemon ripple cheesecake

What if we told you that you can turn that packet of Jatz (you know, the one that’s hanging out in the back of your pantry) into a super easy five ingredient dessert?

That’s right, you can do WAY more with the infamous Arnott’s cracker than just dunking it in your favourite dip, and this lemon condensed milk number is proof.

Jatz, Lemon. Condensed milk

If you know us well, you’ll be aware of our love for all things lemon. But if you REALLY know us, condensed milk might just scrape over the line as our #1 most loved dessert ingredient. So often, you’ll see us combine the two, like in this condensed milk lemon ripple pudding, and lemon and condensed milk dump cake.

Now, the duo has become a trio, with Food Director Amira Georgy stacking Jatz biscuits with a smooth and zesty cream to create the ultimate sweet and salty dessert.

She said: “We love using Arnott’s classics as a foundation for our desserts and Jatz crackers create a subtly salty, savoury offset to the sweetness of the condensed milk. Then, the acidic lemony notes make for the perfect dessert for those who appreciate a wonderful balance between savoury and sweet.”

Even better, this super easy dessert can be made ahead of time making it perfect for no-fuss summer entertaining!

Fancy rocky road with a crunch? The answer is JATZ!

The best kinds of rocky road are the ones that have the ‘crunch factor’; whether it’s digestive biscuits, nuts or crunchy noodles (yes, they work perfectly!). But, when we added Jatz biscuits to our white chocolate rocky road, it was a total game changer. Sweet, flaky and crunchy, the salty addition just took it to another level!

Jatz versus Savoy crackers: is there really a difference?

One of the biggest Aussie debates is whether Arnott’s famous savoury crackers are called Jatz or Savoy. Arnott’s decided to ask Aussies around the country what their takes are on the name debate, and the results are surprising.
