In this article, all members of the taste.com.au team share their favourite stir-fry recipes, from teriyaki beef to a healthier version of chow mein noodles.

Art Director Sam describes this “quick and easy” stir-fry as “packed with flavour”, adding: “The Thai basil really makes it, as does serving it topped with a fried egg!”

Chief Sub-Editor Alex says: “This is a quick and easy stir-fry which is addictive thanks to the sticky kecap manis and spicy sambal sauce. The egg omelette cooks so quickly and is a nice variation to a meat stir-fry.”

Vegetarian quinoa and sweet potato fried rice

Digital Editor Rebecca says: “This fried rice is a fantastic vegetarian option because it’s really hearty and filling.”

“I always end up stewing the meat in my stir-fry,” admits Digital Editor Bec, “but with mince I never have a problem. My kids love sweet and sour so two birds, one stone.”

This dish is “easy for weeknights and delicious”, according to Creative Director Harmony. “The combination of mint and chilli is great and I always want seconds.”

Chilli prawn and zoodle stir-fry

Digital Food Director Amira says of this dish: “Low in carbs, high in flavour and the honey, ginger, garlic combo is simply divine!”

Peppered beef stir-fry

Food contributor Kim says: “Stir-fries for me have to be saucy, delicious (of course) and super-easy. With only three steps, this recipe is on high rotation in my house.”

Art Director Tash loves “noodles, pork and chilli” so says that this noodle dish “ticks all the boxes” for her.

If you’re looking for a stir-fry that’s a little bit different, Video and Social Manager Jade urges you to “whip this one up! The eggplant soaks up all the flavours and Sichuan peppercorns add a tingly kick of spice.”
