Maha Bliss mango released in Australia

Maha Bliss - a mango with a tiny seed - is set to make summer tastier this year. Here’s everything you need to know, including where to find the yummy treat.

The proper way to store and freeze food

A new species of mango is hitting the shelves this summer promising more flesh for your hard earned dollars thanks to its super tiny seed.

The unusually shaped Maha Bliss mango is longer than fan favourites Calypso, Kensington Pride and R2E2 but with a significantly smaller seed pod.

The Maha Bliss is the Australian clone of a popular Thai mango called mahachanok which Northern Territory farmers Tous Garden brought to the region back in 2016. Now they’re finally ready for our sticky little mitts.

Mahachanok are prized for their super sweet flavour, floral aroma, nearly fibreless flesh and, of course, the almost impossibly thin seed.

Maha Bliss mangos are available now at Woolworths and other small retailers.
