Four-ingredient condensed milk ice-cream bars recipe
You could probably make these four-ingredient condensed milk ice-cream bars right now. Because chances are everything you need is already in the pantry.
These frozen condensed milk biscuit bars are back in our lives and they should be in yours too.
Made with only four ingredients, we just love the combination of the rich malt biscuits, the lusciously creamy condensed milk filling with chunks of Crunchie bars.
An old-school favourite
Somewhat reminiscent of an ice-cream sandwich, this recipe has been around on taste.com.au for years and years. In fact, the earliest reviews go back 17 years! It’s the perfect sweet treat on a hot summer’s day, as an after-dinner treat or just when you’re craving something indulgent.
It doesn’t take long to prepare and can be customised with your favourite chocolate bar. Think Kit Kats, Aero Mint, Bounty, Toblerone… The whole thing has to be frozen overnight to let the centre set, but we promise your patience will be rewarded ten-fold.
A “holy grail” dessert
Rated 5-stars, we’re definitely not the only ones who are pretty obsessed with this dessert. It’s been saved hundreds of times, the recipe video has been viewed over 700,000 times on our Instagram page with plenty of comments singing its praises.
One user even went so far as to call it their holy grail dessert! Here’s what others think of it:
“Have made these several times. They’re fabulous.” – Maureen
“Omg I haven’t had this in years!!!!!!” – Jayne
“Yummy!!” – Carol
“The absolute chokehold this recipe has.” – Erin
“This looks mighty fine!” – Laura
