How to make air fryer Caramilk cinnamon rolls
How to make our air fryer cinnamon scrolls using frozen unbaked croissants from the freezer aisle (and just a handful of other ingredients). Read on for full recipe.
Well now, we’ve put the three together to make what’s quite possibly our favourite sweet treat ever.
How to make our air fryer cinnamon scrolls
We don’t have perfectly squishy cinnamon rolls on tap like they do in the States. We also don’t get those frozen rolls of sweet cinnamon dough that you only have to slice and bake. However, our recipe creator Tiffany Page discovered a way to make the easiest cinnamon rolls using frozen unbaked croissants from the freezer aisle (and just a handful of other ingredients).
Tiffany literally rolled out the croissants, sprinkled them with cinnamon sugar, rolled them up and cut them in half. She then flattened and stretched the scrolls out and arranged them into an air fryer. After cooking them for 7 minutes until golden, she left them to sit in the hot appliance for another 5 minutes to help them cook all the way through and go beautifully gooey.
Our Caramilk twist on a cinnamon roll
To give our rolls a truly Aussie twist, we drizzled them with a mixture of melted Caramilk and store-bought custard. In tribute to one of our fave cereals, we added slightly crushed Crunchy Nut corn flakes on top. You’re welcome.
They’re prepped in 15 minutes, cooked in 15 minutes… and devoured in about 15 seconds.
