Air fryer garlic bread croissant rolls
All thanks to our new favourite freezer aisle item.
They’re sold as a raw pastry dough that’s already shaped into individual crescents, ready to pop in the oven, bake and then load up with butter and jam while still warm. Obviously, that’s what we did with the first pack we bought… but then we thought we’d put the second to even better use.
Garlic bread: an Australian obsession
It’s no secret that Aussies love a bit of garlic bread. You went wild for our now-iconic air fryer crumpet garlic bread and garlic bread cob loaf and you loved our most recent garlic bread pasta. So it made sense to try and mash-up our new fave supermarket product with your fave savoury flavour profile.
How to make air fryer garlic bread croissant roll-ups
Food Director Amira Georgy (of recent air-fried milk fame!) was tasked with the job of transforming the frozen croissant dough into the ultimate cheesy garlic bread… and she managed it with just three ingredients!
First, she rolled out the croissants until they were 8mm thick. She spread them generously with store-bought garlic butter (we used the classic Tru Blue brand, available at Coles), added some pizza blend grated cheese and then rolled them up. She topped them with more garlic butter and cheese (because WHY NOT?) and then cooked them for 8-10 minutes until golden and bubbly.

Garlic bread croissant rolls: the verdict
First thing’s first: the visual. These little snacks come out of the air fryer golden brown on top and bubbling with garlic butter all over. As you tear into them, you hit every cheese pull goal you’ve ever had.
And the flavour? They are SO GOOD. The croissants are soft and buttery on the inside and crusty on the outside. You’ll be licking the garlic butter off your wrists… but you might want to avoid eating these before an important meeting, date or dental appointment (garlic breath alert!)
