HILARY Steenholdt from Cora Lynn has discovered one farmer’s way of brightening up their local landscape.

“This dairy farmer, whose property is between Leongatha and Berrys Creek, each year provides entertainment for passers-by on the Strzelecki Highway with messages on his silage rolls,” Hilary said.

“This year he has become very colourful with the rolls being the colours of the rainbow.

“It brightens one’s day to go past them. A few neighbouring farms have some colour combinations but not quite as big.”

Must be a bugger, though, changing the colour of the silage wrap between every bale.
