Getting down and dirty all in a day’s work

Every picture tells a story, but in this instance what happened behind the scenes of the photo shoot was another story.

GETTING your feet muddy and a car getting bogged is nothing new for The Weekly Times photographer Zoe Phillips.

Zoe has been with this paper for 15 years, and she has proven time and again she will go to any lengths to get THE shot.

This was Zoe in action at a job at Rutherglen last week. Her photograph of grain grower Andrew Russell made the front page of the newspaper — but the reality behind the scenes was hilarious.

The front cover shot that made it all worth it.

Andrew’s ute got bogged in the paddock, then the buggy they got picked up in also got stuck in another part of the field.

Thankfully they were able to push that one out. Ah, the magic of photography.
