You might get that lonely-at-a-party feeling walking in here: the staff are overworked and it takes time to figure out where and how to order. But the pub is airy, elegant, and has a fantastic view of the Hunter River and plains beyond from the back deck. The meals are standard pub fare and when the buzzer vibrates, run (we walked and our meals were lukewarm). But with a glass or bottle from the decent wine list and that view, the ambience compensates - especially with the help of a scrumptious hot chocolate mud cake with hot fudge sauce (a bargain at $8).
