A North-West Tasmanian man is facing nearly 20 charges following a string of alleged burglary and stealing offences.

POLICE have charged a North-West Tasmanian man following a string of alleged burglary and stealing incidents across multiple towns.
Tasmania Police on Friday said a 29-year-old man from Yolla had been charged in relation to multiple alleged burglary and stealing offences, including the theft of a vehicle.
The man was charged with six counts of burglary, seven counts of stealing, one count of motor vehicle stealing and three counts of attempted motor vehicle stealing.
The alleged offences reportedly occurred over recent weeks at Burnie, Somerset and Wynyard.
The man was arrested on Thursday and appeared in court on Friday.
He has been remanded in custody and is expected to reappear in the Burnie Magistrates Court on August 18.
