A BRIDGEWATER man who allegedly tried to dump eight tonnes of animal manure outside former premier Will Hodgman’s office will finally fight his case in court next month.

Scott Wayne Moore appeared in the Hobart Magistrates Court on Thursday, when a date of August 18 was set down for a contested hearing.

The court heard the matter would take three to four hours, with three police officers expected to give evidence and half an hour of body-worn footage to be screened.

Mr Moore has previously pleaded not guilty to one count of resisting a police officer and one count of failing to comply with the officer’s direction on August 9 last year.
