We’ve crunched the numbers and counted your votes to reveal Tasmania’s best footballers from the last weekend. See who won and the stats from every game.

The votes are in and two players have stood out above their counterparts to be named Tasmania’s best footballers of the week following the Anzac Day long weekend.

Lauderdale gun Sam Siggins took out the men’s nomination in resounding fashion.

While Kingborough rising star Matilda Lange won the women’s nomination.

The best footballers across Tasmania have made their mark on the Anzac Day long weekend.

In the Southern league’s top tier, Lauderdale’s Bryce Walsh had a game to remember with 37 disposals with six marks to finish with a weekend high of 153 fantasy points but was closely followed by a seven goal performance by fellow Bomber Sam Siggins. Lauderdale big man Andrew Phillips finished with 51 hit-outs and 19 disposals to boast a massive 142 fantasy points.

Kingborough’s Mason Brezinscak showcased why he is one of the best ruckman in the state with 42 hit-outs to, 15 disposals and finished with 149 fantasy points with Kieran Lovell being the benefit of the ruckman’s brilliant work with 38 disposals, a goal and 146 fantasy points.

You can’t go past the biggest weekend performances without looking at Clarence duo Fraser Turner and Joshua Green. Turner was checked for leather poisoning with 42 disposals, 11 marks and two goals to pick up 175 fantasy points but still wasn’t the best on ground with Green booting 8.4 from 25 disposals, 14 marks to finish with 178 fantasy points.

But the biggest fantasy point weekend came just shy of a 200 point game with Matilda Lange finishing with 39 disposals, seven marks, three goals and 198 points for the Kingborough Tigers in what was a best on ground performance helping her side claim its first win of 2025.
