New impressions of the Tasmania Devils training and administration facility have been released after the club this week submitted its planning permit application.

The AFL’s 19th team released the images after holding community engagement sessions in recent weeks surrounding the proposed facility at Kingborough.

The Devils worked alongside Kingborough Council, Kingborough Knights Cricket Club, Kingston Tigers Football Club and Tasmania JackJumpers to answer any questions locals might have had.

Tasmania FC boss Brendon Gale said the submission was a “significant milestone” for the club.

“The High Performance Training and Administration Facility is a critical piece of infrastructure for our club, it will be the workplace of our on- and off-field staff and an essential ingredient to our Club’s success and sustainability,” Gale said.

“We are planning to be playing AFL and AFLW in 2028. The lodging of this application is in accordance with meeting these time frames.

“We believe that the proposal strikes the right balance between meeting the high-performance needs of elite football and integrating respectfully with the precinct’s character, environmental values and role in the community.
