Sky Racing form analyst Brad Davidson runs the rule over every race, including suggested bets and TAB market movers, for the Royal Randwick program.

The Form: Complete NSW Racing thoroughbred form, including video replays and all you need to know about every horse, jockey and trainer. Find a winner here!

R ACE 1: 1.15PM SKY RACING ACTIVE HCP (1100M)

OVERVIEW: Malkovich just didn’t handle the wet track last start and received plenty of pressure at 1200m. Back to 1100m on a drying track suits and the only knock is how much pressure he gets from Dawn Too Good from the outside. That could set it up for Favra and his fresh run last prep was super. He should be strong late here. Dawn Too Good won’t know himself with 51kg on his back and he can run a cheeky race on speed. Triple Ace looks up against it to continues his unbeaten run this prep.

ADVICE: Favra looks over the odds here. No knock Makovich and his race will all depend on the tactics on Dawn Too Good.

TAB MARKET MOVERS: 1 – Matowatakape $7.50-$5.50

RACE 2: 1.50PM TAB HIGHWAY CLASS 3 HCP (1200M)

OVERVIEW: Pinnacle Prince picks himself here and he clocked some outstanding splits first up and can go on with it here. He won’t have to get too far back this time. Toro Toro gets a 4kg swing on Pinnacle Prince from last start and he will appreciate 1200m. He looks the clear danger. I reckon there is a great place bet here in Joey’s Chance. He has drawn off the track here but his figures stack up well and he will be storming home. Kaipaki next best.

ADVICE: Pinnacle Prince clearly on top and hard to beat. I can entertain Joey’s Chance to place though.

TAB MARKET MOVERS: 4 – Pinnacle Prince $2.30-$1.95 ($600 @ $2.30, $800 @ $2.25, $400 @ $2.15)

RACE 3: 2.25PM SCHWEPPES HANDICAP (1600M)

OVERVIEW: Interesting little race. Fifteen Aria was a strong winner on debut and she heads straight to Saturday grade here. She gets in light and is from a good family. Zing beat the rest easily when runner up behind Bowery Breeze last start and she will be closing off strongly again. Foxborough will roll forward and have her admirers again although she was given a peach by James McDonald last start. Lando Bay can improve with the blinkers back on, while Macleay can also run on.

ADVICE: Leaning to Zing.

TAB MARKET MOVERS: 9 – Fifteen Aria $11-$5 ($300 x $100 e/w @ $11/$2.80)

Deductions: Donandkim 14c Win 13c Place

All Time Legend should get a pretty good run in transit.
All Time Legend should get a pretty good run in transit.

RACE 4: 3PM HANDICAP (1400M)

OVERVIEW: All Time Legend picks himself here and he was ultra impressive first up in weaker grade. The step up in trip suits and he maps to get a pretty good run. Subedar has some great form lines last prep including being beaten just three lengths in a Caulfield Guineas. He returns off a long break here but has trialled well. Starla will appreciate 1400m and a big weight drop and she is definitely racing well this prep, while Dream Circle has minor claims.

ADVICE: All Time Legend to win.

TAB MARKET MOVERS: 5 – All Time Legend $2.30-$2 ($600 @ $2.40, $750 @ $2.30, $500 @ $2.25)

Deductions: Juventus 6c Win 7c Place

RACE 5: 3.40PM RANVET HANDICAP (1500M)

OVERVIEW: Interesting race. Juventus is building nicely this prep and he won fourth up last prep in a peak performance. He meets Greek Hero 4.5kg better at the weights here for a 0.5 length margin last start and the 1500m should suit. Above And Beyond had absolutely no luck last start and his form prior tied in well. He is yet to run a strong 1500m but he looks the forgotten horse all the same here. Ulysses needs luck from the gate but will have admirers up to 1500m and he was stuck in inferior ground at Warwick Farm last start. Brutality should be charging home from the tail.

ADVICE: Leaning to Juventus.

TAB MARKET MOVERS: No bets or movements of note

Davo doesn’t expect the extra 3kg to knock Big Parade around too much.
Davo doesn’t expect the extra 3kg to knock Big Parade around too much.

RACE 6: 4.20PM HEINEKEN HANDICAP (1200M)

OVERVIEW: Big Parade looks very hard to beat again here and I don’t think the extra 3kg will bother him. He can be a bit hit and miss but his best would beat this lot comfortably. Mo’s Crown meets Big Parade 3kg better off at the weights but I doubt it’s enough to make up for a 3.3L deficit. Add in the fact he has drawn wide and his best form is at Rosehill and it makes it tricky. Handspun has trialled up well and she can park behind the speed here and should be strong late. The 1200m suits her fresh better than 1100m first-up last prep.

ADVICE: Big Parade to win. Handspun looks the only danger.

TAB MARKET MOVERS: 2 – Big Parade $2.30-$2.25 ($500 @ $2.30, $400 @ $2.30, $300 @ $2.30 MULTIPLE TIMES,

$500 @ $2.25); 5 – Bulletin $11 unchanged ($2,000 e/w @ $11/$2.90).

RACE 7: 5PM JANUARY CUP (2000M)

OVERVIEW: Open race with several hopes here. Spirit Ridge is sure to have his admirers off the last start win even though he does go up 2.5kg here and meets Laure Me In 3kg worse off for a one length margin. Laure Me In has drawn a touch awkwardly though and the map doesn’t look great. Gone Bye, Significance, Pancho and Fulmina are all hopes at their best, while Humboldt Current put in a sneaky run last start and will appreciate the extra trip.

ADVICE: Leaning to Spirit Ridge but a host of chances here.

TAB MARKET MOVERS: No bets or movements of note

RACE 8: 5.40PM PRECISE AIR HANDICAP (1800M)

OVERVIEW : I thought New Arrangement looked over the odds in early betting. I don’t see the 1800m posing too many issues and he bolted in last start after having no luck the start prior. Word For Word jumped out of the ground second up and the extra trip should suit her as well. Sacramento put in a great run fresh but the query is whether he is looking for further now, while Kiss The Bridge is building nicely but has come up with a sticky draw here.

ADVICE: New Arrangement to win.

TAB MARKET MOVERS: 6 – Sacramento $6-$5 ($400 @ $6)

RACE 9: 6.15PM TAB HANDICAP (1500M)

OVERVIEW: Open race to finish the day. More Prophets just felt the pinch late when 1100m up to 1400m second up and she will strip fitter from the good draw here. St Covet’s Spirit had no luck last start and the drying track will help her here. Betcha Flying will appreciate the drying track as well and should roll forward early, while Bowery Breeze and Strawb will be closing off late with Dame Kiri.

ADVICE: Leaning to More Prophets in a competitive race.

TAB MARKET MOVERS: 10 – More Prophets $10-$6 ($500 @ $8 TWICE)
