WAS there a Perfect 8 winner in round three? NO! That means that the initial $25000 prize jackpots by $5000 again to be $40000 this week. That’s proper cash!
For the record, the perfect 8 for round three would have been …
Lachlan Coote 96 (Cowboys v Roosters)
Semi Radradra 136 (Bulldogs v Eels)
Jarrod Mullen 91 (Knights v Raiders)
Anthony Milford 136 (Panthers v Broncos)
Kevin Naiqama 99 (Titans v Tigers)
Roger Tuivasa-Sheck 89 (Warriors v Storm)
Tyson Frizell 80 (Dragons v Rabbits)
Tom Trbojevic 99 (Sea Eagles v Sharks)
What a motley crew that lot is! Some rolled gold superstars in Radradra, Milford and Tuivasa-Sheck thrown in with some hot form players in Coote, Naiqama and tommy Trbo! Let’s have a look at the best options for the coming round.
RABBITOHS v BULLDOGS
4pm Friday at ANZ Stadium
Paul Carter 2RF | HOK (Rabbitohs): Bit of a left-field choice here but that’s what this game is all about. Carter has been pumping out keeper-like scores of late and the hard-nosed contest against a big Bulldogs pack will suit him down to the ground.
Other options: Moses Mbye, Greg Inglis, Bryson Goodwin

BRONCOS v COWBOYS
8.05pm Friday at Suncorp Stadium
Johnathan Thurston HFB | 5/8 (Cowboys): - It’s a toss-up between three of the SuperCoach guns here in JT, Corey Parker and Anthony Milford, but in a GF rematch and one that JT no doubt has marked in the diary I can see this being a big score for the great man.
Other options: Corey Parker, Anthony Milford, Matt Gillett, Michael Morgan
RAIDERS v TITANS
5.30pm Saturday at GIO Stadium
Jarrod Croker CTW (Raiders): The Titans played OK last week, but I still can’t see them restricting the Raiders in this one. If there are points to be had, you can bet your bottom dollar that Croker will be among it — with a career average of 67 points against the Gold Coast I’ll be jumping on board.
Other options: Iosia Soliola, Shaun Fensom, Tyrone Roberts
ROOSTERS v SEA EAGLES
7.30pm Saturday at Allianz Stadium
Daly Cherry-Evans HFB (Sea Eagles): As much as it pains me to say it as a Chooks fan, I think the backflipping playmaker may well be in for a big night. The Roosters have been conceding plenty of points and I think this may be the week he turns it around.
Other options: Jake Friend, Tom Trbojevic, Latrell Mitchell, Sio Siua Taukeiaho
DRAGONS v PANTHERS
4pm Sunday at WIN Stadium
Josh Dugan CTW | FLB (Dragons): A tough call over an in-form Bryce Cartwright but I like Dugan whenever he is at fullback. He tallied 52 points in the wet last start at the SCG in a low-scoring game, which is promising as to what is to come.
Other options: Bryce Cartwright, Matt Moylan, Gareth Widdop
WARRIORS v KNIGHTS
2pm Monday at Mt Smart Stadium
Shaun Johnson HFB (Warriors): The SuperCoach rollercoaster himself could well go HUGE this week. A Mt Smart home game on Easter Monday against a leaky Knights outfit — I’m backing 100+.
Other options: Simon Mannering, Roger Tuivasa-Sheck, Robbie Rochow
TIGERS v EELS
4pm Monday at ANZ Stadium
James Tedesco FLB (Tigers): Averaging more than 100 points per game this season, and more than 75 points per game against the Eels in his career — what more could you want? It’s a tough choice between he and Semi Radradra, but this kid is the real deal as potentially the best player in all of SuperCoach.
Other options: Semi Radradra, Manu Ma’u, Robbie Farah
SHARKS v STORM
7pm Monday at Southern Cross Stadium
Andrew Fifita FRF (Sharks): Fifita will be my captain this week and he has been building nicely minutes wise across the three games this season. After 82 points last week and so close to a try, this could be the week he explodes.
Other options: Jesse Bromwich, James Maloney, Marika Koroibete
Good luck — wouldn’t it be a lovely Easter weekend with an extra $40k in the sky rocket.
