PLAYER prices are on the move this week so as we head into round four David ‘VK’ Von Kotze takes a look at the men pulling big numbers but low ownership.
It’s SuperCoach POD watch for round four.
1. Andrew Fifita (12.9 per cent ownership)
The big fella is starting to get his match fitness back and is heating up. Only played 49 minutes in round one but has played 58 minutes for the last two games and came agonisingly close to scoring against the Sea Eagles getting held up over the line twice. Fifita is due a few effective offload updates but going on his current score, he will decrease in value by around $15,000 after averaging 64 points so far this season.
2. Aiden Tolman (2.3 per cent ownership)
Tolman doesn’t really have a high ceiling only grabbing a try on rare occasions, however, he is one of the most reliable FRF options in SuperCoach delivering a 68 and 67 in rounds one and three. Tolman will see a price drop of just over $15,000 after only scoring 18 points in round two due to a game shortened by concussion and could be a solid pick up either this week or next.
3. Dane Gagai (4.1 per cent ownership)
Gagai went on an impressive run in 2015 putting out handy SuperCoach scores when he played at fullback. He may have only scored 47 last week but had his hands on the ball frequently in attack and had a try with a line-break disallowed by the bunker. Gagai should also be in the mix for representative duties which needs to be taken into account if considering bringing him in.
4. Cameron Munster (1.7 per cent ownership)
Munster gets another mention in POD watch this week after finding the try line once again last weekend to average 67 in the two games he has played at fullback. Will decrease in value slightly this week after a round one score of 35 where he played in the centres. Will be valued somewhere in the vicinity of $380,000.

5. Sio Siua Taukeiaho (1.6 per cent ownership)
Taukeiaho has seen a big increase in minutes especially in the last two rounds averaging 76 minutes and scoring 68 and 71. Only available in the second row but deserves considering if he maintains these minutes. SST can be picked up for just under $320,000 this week for those that way inclined.
6. Ben Matulino (8.1 per cent ownership)
The Warriors might not be getting the job done but Ben Matulino certainly is averaging 64 points per game so far this season. Will only see a slight price rise this week but could be an upgrade option for Kane Evans owners seeing as though he will only miss one game prior to round 18.
7. Will Chambers (3.7 per cent ownership)
Getting the job done in the centres averaging 71 for the first three rounds. He may be a POD with less than 4 per cent ownership but unless you have started the season with him he is probably a no- go as he is expected to rise in price by nearly $25,000 making him very expensive. Also, he will almost certainly play State of Origin this year.
8. Kevin Naiqama (2 per cent ownership)
An obligation to delivering the facts sees Kevin Naiqama get a start in POD watch for round four. Naiqama absolutely cleaned up in round three scoring a hat-trick to exceed his break-even by 150 points and take his three game average to 93. He will be valued at around $330,000 this week and will make money again next week, but surely even though he is reaping the benefits of plenty of James Tedesco magic, he can’t keep this up. A definite case of deja vu with the exact same things being said in 2015 when Broncos centre Jack Reed went on an incredible run. If you brought him in last week, well done, but not worth the risk to bring him in this week.
9. Jake Trbojevic (8.2 per cent ownership)
JTurbo has played big minutes over the past fortnight and increased his three game average significantly against the Sharks by crashing over for a try to head into round four with a tidy average of 70. Will increase in value to over $340,000 but exists as another upgrade option in the FRF position.
10. Tom Trbojevic (12.9 per cent ownership)
Scored a try against the Sharks to boost his round three score to 78 but also had one disallowed. Looked very dangerous outside Brett Stewart and can be picked up this week for somewhere near the $315 000 mark after averaging 64 to start the season.
