Lauderdale’s Mr Versatility Sam Siggins has stormed home to take the Alastair Lynch Medal as the TSL’s best and fairest player.
Siggins, a former Adelaide Crow draftee, had not polled a vote until round seven, but best afield performances in the final two rounds when thrown into the ruck to replace injured big man Haydn Smith, saw Siggins claim the medal by three votes from pre-count favourite, Launceston skipper Jobi Harper, and Tigers ball magnet Kieran Lovell.
