CANBERRA rake Josh Hodgson is still clinging onto to the top spot on Dally M leaderboard with fellow hooker Michael Ennis closing in.

Hodgson still leads the count by just one point but hasn’t scored since round four.

Ennis’ performance in the Sharks’ win against Canberra netted him the three votes which takes him to outright second.

The hooker was very busy in Cronulla’s convincing 40-16 thumping of the Raiders.

His short kicking game was excellent and he was at his niggling best from dummy half.

Cowboys lock Jason Taumalolo has also shot up the leaderboard thanks to his dominant display against the Rabbitohs.

In a clinical performance by North Queensland, Taumalolo led from the front of his pack to steamroller South Sydney’s big men.

Josh Dugan starred for the Dragons as they finally broke their scoring drought to beat the Titans 19-14 on the Gold Coast.

The fullback was at his running best making 219 metres as well as a try-saving ankle tap on David Mead, and it was enough to secure him the three votes.

Once again, five-eighth Corey Norman showed he would not be outdown by star recruit and halves partner Kieran Foran in Parramatta’s 22-10 win over the Sea Eagles.

Norman was all class as he controlled his side’s attack with his deft kicking game. It earned him two Dally M vote and a spot in the top 10.

Anthony Milford put in one of the best individual performances of the season and was duly rewarded with three votes taking his total to seven, placing him equal with Sharks forward Andrew Fifita.
