Victorian opener Marcus Harris is set to make his debut in the first Test against India with Matt Renshaw to once again be overlooked.
It’s understood 26-year-old Harris will be announced in a 14-man squad today with fellow Victorians Chris Tremain, Peter Handscomb and Peter Siddle also expected to be included.
Harris is the Sheffield Shield’s second highest run-scorer.

Australian selectors will stick largely with the same side that lost to Pakistan last month, with Travis Head, Shaun and Mitchell Marsh and Aaron Finch to all get another chance.
Peter Handscomb could compete with Head for a place in the top five after being banished for the last tour against Pakistan.
