An NFL commentator has caused a stir with one comment regarding music superstar Taylor Swift and her relationship.

Maybe Tony Romo just wanted to mock his comment from a few weeks ago, or perhaps he made the same Taylor Swift-Travis Kelce mistake again.

Near the midway point of the second quarter, Kelce caught a screen pass and turned it into a 24-yard gain — escaping tackles and even throwing a stiff-arm to extend the play — for the Chiefs, which prompted CBS to show Taylor Swift, in attendance at Arrowhead Stadium, on the broadcast, the NY Post reports.

“And his wife loves it, I mean, girlfriend,” Romo said.

“You’ve been down that road with that before,” play-by-play broadcaster Jim Nantz said.

When the pair called the Buffalo Bills vs Kansas City Chiefs game in Week 14, Romo said a similar line on the broadcast, telling viewers that, “You can see Kelce’s wife, Taylor Swift, in the audience. I’m sorry, girlfriend.”

“Not yet,” Jim Nantz said that afternoon. “You don’t know something we don’t know, do you?”

Swift was in attendance for her eighth Chiefs game this season, as the relationship between her and Kelce — which officially started dominating headlines in September — remains one of the NFL’s most popular storylines.

This time, Swift’s entrance featured someone dressed as Santa Claus walking beside her, and she also wore a Santa hat that contained a No. 87 for Kelce.

She also attended Kansas City’s game against the Patriots last weekend at Gillette Stadium, but after the Chiefs won their first four games with her in attendance, they’ve lost two of the last three.

Kelce’s reception on the screen pass was one of four — for 42 yards — he compiled throughout a disastrous first half for the Chiefs, who trailed, 17-7, at halftime after the Raiders scored a pair of defensive touchdowns in seven seconds.

At one point, Kelce even slammed his helmet in frustration while standing on the Chiefs sideline late in the first half, which prompted head coach Andy Reid to talk with his star tight end.

They finished the first quarter with minus-18 yards, and their lone touchdown occurred when Isiah Pacheco took a direct snap, cut toward the sideline and raced into the end zone.

The Raiders ultimately won the contest, handing the Chiefs their fifth loss across the last eight games with games against the Cincinatti Bengals and Los Angeles Chargers remaining in the regular season.
