Scott downplays reaction to Port heckler

GEELONG coach Chris Scott says he didn’t hear anything untoward from a Port Adelaide fan but wasn’t surprised by what was said to him during his side’s win at Adelaide Oval last night.

Undermanned Cats stun Power in fiery clash

GEELONG has brought Port Adelaide crashing down to earth, inflicting the Power’s second loss in a row in a finals-like clash at Adelaide Oval. It was brutal, with players stretchered off and Lindsay Thomas reported in his first game for the club.

VIDEO: Two men down in quarter of carnage

PORT Adelaide and Geelong wound back the clock to the 1980s with the motorised stretcher sent out twice in a matter of minutes, Lindsay Thomas reported and potentially in strife for another big hit.

Danger: Stop milking sliding frees

AFL Players Association president Patrick Dangerfield has urged players to stop milking the sliding rule for free kicks as he questioned the league’s new fines system.
