Exclusive: Jordan De Goey may have been stood down by Collingwood indefinitely — but his Aussie mate and co-accused Luke Dyson has returned to his day job.

The Melbourne-born tattoo artist was back inking customers at the Inked Mag tattoo parlour in New York City after spending his post-jail release living it up on a helicopter ride and at an NBA basketball game.

Speaking to News Corp a few blocks away from where he and De Goey were arrested at the Dream Hotel in Chelsea, Dyson politely declined to comment on what went down during the wild Halloween party at the PHD nightclub.

Asked what happened over in the altercation or why the groping charges in the case were dropped, Dyson said: “I can’t say anything. Talk to my lawyer, brother.”

His legal aid lawyer Margaret Taylor has not responded to multiple messages.

Earlier, Dyson shared an Instagram story from the tattoo parlour showing him tattooing the back of a customer throughout the day.

While prices vary by tattoo artist, minimum rates at Inked start at USD $250 and increase based on the size and complexity of the artwork.

The story shared by Dyson showed him working off an image that appeared to cover most of the customer’s back, suggesting the piece could cost several hundred dollars at a minimum.

Dyson has been in New York for much of the past week partying and sightseeing with friends like De Goey.

De Goey has still not emerged after the incident turned his working holiday to the US upside down.

The AFL star was undertaking an elite fitness training program in California through his Monster Energy partnership.

His future with the energy drink label is unclear, with a spokesman for the company telling News Corp they would not comment on his recent assault charges.

The pair are both facing assault and harassment charges and were released on bail.

De Goey had more serious charges of forcible touching dropped. A conviction could have landed the 25-year-old midfielder in jail and placed in the US category of a sex crime.

Multiple reports suggested De Goey could return to Los Angeles or even Australia as he could fulfil his weekly check-in with police by phone until his next court date on December 8.

Manager Ryan Vague has suggested to the media that De Goey would release a statement about his future in the coming days, but he has so far remained silent.
