IF you have been living under a rock and missed any SuperCoach articles lately rest assured we have you covered.

The following is just a snapshot of the best SuperCoach intel available at SuperFooty.com.au

New to SuperCoach? It’s OK ... you can admit it. Here’s everything you need to know before the 2016 AFL season gets underway on Thursday night.

And don’t forget the 12 golden rules to SuperCoach success.

Need a hand to get your team off the ground? Al Paton’s got you covered with his SuperCoach cheat sheet hot off the SuperFooty presses. The cheat sheet allows you to pick a side in the time it takes to order a soy decaf skinny latte at your favourite coffee shop.

Built a SuperCoach side from scratch but want to see how it stacks up against our experts? Check out Herald Sun chief football writer Mark Robinson’s team HERE.

But wait ... there’s more! The Phantom has spent the past six months shuffling and no doubt reshuffling his SuperCoach side.

As has Jon Ralph and SuperFooty editor and #SCPod host Al Paton.

* Sides subject to change — often — at short notice.

Shhhh ... can you keep a secret? Ever wondered how the scoring works in SuperCoach? Well, the time is right for us to lift the lid on one of our most closely guarded secrets. You don’t need to be a rocket doctor to work out goals and intercept contested marks give you the most points.

Anyone can pick premiums. Nat Fyfe, Gary Ablett, Patrick Dangerfield ... the list goes on. But it’s the rookies you must get right to lay the foundations for a successful SuperCoach season.

Spent too much time watching Netflix and not the NAB Challenge? That’s OK too. Tap HERE to see every SuperCoach score from the pre-season.

How will Dustin Martin go with lots happening in his life on and off the field? What about Adam Treloar in his first season at Collingwood and will Gold Coast speedster Aaron Hall continue his rich vein of form. The SuperCoach Jury delivers its verdict.

Speaking of risks who should we avoid or at the very least keep on a short leash? These are usually pre-season bolters that have floundered on the track in the run to Round 1 or been kept under lock and key nursing niggling injuries.

What about forgotten gems? The players who - for some absurd reason - we neglect each and every year only to kick ourselves in the second half of the season when they boast triple-figure averages. Think Matt Priddis or more recently David Mundy, Ryan Griffen and Travis Boak.

Do you believe in redemption? Shaun Higgins was a SuperCoach no-go zone during his time at the Western Bulldogs only to transform himself into a set-and-forget swingman at North Melbourne. Higgins played just about every game last year averaging mid 90s. Who are the leading Risk v Reward candidates in 2016.

Last but not least ... GOOD LUCK and why not challenge yourself by adding one or more of our SuperCoach experts to your private leagues.
