A Queensland horse trainer's house is currently leading earnings' stakes in her stable of investments - after breaking a suburb record at auction Saturday and making more in two years than a popular racehorse.

This property has sold at auction for $5m.

Around 40 properties will go under the hammer in Greater Brisbane this weekend as selling picks up again following last weekend’s virtual shutdown over the Easter break.

The first two homes open for inspection as early as 7.30am Saturday before being auctioned off at 8am, but one has already sold with vendors accepting an offer made Friday evening. The final auction of the day will go off at 4pm – a townhouse in Northgate.
