Western Australian Police charge 24-year-old South Hedland man with manslaughter after De Grey fatal crash

A man has been charged following the death of a three-year-old girl after a single vehicle crash.

A man will face court over the death of a three-year-old girl who died in a single vehicle crash.

Emergency crews were called following reports a maroon coloured Holden Captiva travelling on an access road near Great

Northern Highway left the road and rolled at De Grey in the Pilbara about 10.50pm on Wednesday.

Paramedics treated a three-year-old girl who was travelling as a passenger in the car for critical injuries but she died at the scene.

Three women and two men were also treated for minor injuries following the crash.

West Australian Police have since charged a 24-year-old South Hedland man with one count each of manslaughter, dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm and dangerous driving occasioning bodily harm.

He is set to appear before the Stirling Gardens Magistrates Court on September 18.
