Search for missing FIFO worker Bill Carter last seen at Perth Airport

Loved ones are desperately searching for a FIFO worker who was dropped off at Perth Airport but failed to board his flight.

A desperate search is under way for a FIFO worker who vanished after he was dropped off at the airport by his mum on his way to a job.

Bill Carter was last seen on Saturday at about 12:40pm after his mother, Jenny O’Byrne, dropped him to Perth Airport’s Terminal 3.

Mr Carter was due to board a flight to his job at a job site near Karratha later that day, but never made it.

His loved ones are now desperately searching for answers about what could have happened to him.

“Serious concerns for his health,” Ms O’Byrne wrote on social media.

The FIFO worker’s partner Janae Williamson said that Mr Carter’s employer confirmed to her that he did not board the flight.

“Bill I’m begging you to come home. You are so loved,” she wrote.

A missing persons investigation is now under way, with WA Police looking into what happened to Mr Carter.

He is described as being approximately 174cm tall, of slim build, with brown hair and blue eyes.
