Whistleblowers say Victorian hospitals can’t tackle massive surgery backlogs or properly staff wards and emergency departments. Victorians reeling from the rising cost of living will soon be smashed by power bill hikes worth about $60 a year. Compensation to firefighters diagnosed with cancer would be extended to include more cancers specific to women under new laws introduced by Derryn Hinch’s Justice Party. Mondays and Fridays are the most popular days to work from home, with city workers giving themselves a long weekend away from the office.
