Anthony Albanese faces an action-packed start to life as prime minister, with the Labor leader to fly to Japan as unions push for a wage rise for the nation’s lowest paid workers. 

Victoria is expecting to call in the promise to unlock $4bn in infrastructure funding in a new partnership with the federal Labor government. 

Victorian students have experienced bullying more than kids in other states, as bullying rates jumped by more than 30 per cent nationally. 

Turns out marriage may not be all it is cracked up to be, with the number of same-sex couples getting divorces increasing by a whopping 86.7 per cent cent in the past five years since gay nuptials were legalised.
