Maria Thattil is inspired by new beginnings and a fresh focus heading into the Formula One Australian Grand Prix.
After a recent break-up from former AFLW star Moana Hope, Thattil will be consumed by fashion, hair and beauty next week.
“It’s all about balance for me,” Thattil said.
“Moana and I, she’s my best friend. I think irrespective of circumstances, there is no love or respect lost. We have a fantastic connection, and we’re taking care of ourselves and we’re taking care of each other.
“I’ve got so much good in my life and I think what I’m very fortunate to have is fantastic people around me, my career this year is really exciting to me and there’s lot of good things coming up.”
Thattil, wearing a custom gown by Cappellazzo Couture, will attend the VIP Glamour on the Grid party on Wednesday night as a Shark Beauty ambassador, followed by an appearance at Friday’s Shark Beauty public activation with hair stylist Joey Scandizzo.
“Glamour on the Grid is one of Australia’s premium red carpet fashion moments and this time of year the energy is amazing and Australia is a hub for world class sport,” Thattil said.
“Anyone who knows me, knows I love hair and it’s such an important part of someone’s self expression so Shark Beauty and I share similar values.”
