The team behind Dark Mofo has confirmed their new green grocer will open next week at a prominent Hobart city site.
In The Hanging Garden will host an alternative outdoor market four days a week to support Tasmanian producers through the coronavirus crisis.

DarkLab creative director Leigh Carmichael said the grocer was designed based on Department of Health safety advice.
“We pride ourselves on providing a unique opportunity for quality Tasmanian producers each year at the Dark Mofo Winter Feast,” he said.
“The Hanging Garden Green Grocer is our way to continue to support our community and provide a new business opportunity for our best producers during this festival off-year.”
Eating onsite will be off-limits, but fresh local fruit, vegetables, dairy, meat, honey, bakery products and prepared meals will be available to take home.
The grocer will open weekly from May 20 and run from 9am-2pm, Wednesday to Saturday at the Cathedral, In The Hanging Garden.
